The City’s Water and Sanitation Department will be completing various connections on the water reticulation network in De Waal Road, Fish Hoek on Thursday, 3 December 2020. This work will result in the disruption of the water supply to approximately six residential blocks below Kommetjie Main Road from 09:00 until 17:00 on Thursday, 3 December 2020.
Households between 6th Avenue and 13th Avenue will be affected. These residents should also please note that this project team has previously experienced technical challenges working in this area, and have advised that residents should be made aware that the water disruption may last longer than planned.
Businesses and residents are advised to store water in clean, sealed containers for use during this period.
Customers should also ensure their taps are closed during this period to avoid water loss or damage when the water supply is restored. A water tanker will be parked on the corner of 10th Avenue and De Waal Road to assist where required.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused.
